The CCS business line consists of technological/functional cabin comfort systems co-designed with OEMs in the initial development stage of a new aircraft, when the cabin can be significantly engineered to meet the customer’s needs in a more targeted and effective manner.
CCS products, which are designed for a specific aircraft and are sold to OEMs, are generally supplied under long-term contracts that cover the aircraft’s entire life.
In a process similar to the ALS business line’s, over time, the CCS business line has developed and consolidated transversal technological expertise (mechanical, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, electronic, controls and materials), through experience in building parts and systems and integrating systems, including certification.
Proprietary integrated cabin comfort systems include:
- Liners and silens,
- cabin management (infotainment, cabin light management, cabin air commands and controls, transparent electro-chromatic commands),
- cabin air distribution optimisation,
- cabin lights and electronic cabin systems,
- cabinets and monuments.
Proprietary integrated mission customisation systems provide for:
- emergency medical service cabin kits,
- VIP cabin kits,
- business cabin kits,
- utility and oil & gas cabin kits.
The CCS business line also ensures customers receive support for the product’s entire life with a specific product support structure.
CCS operating activities are concentrated at the Monteprandone site (Ascoli Piceno, Italy).
This business line recently acquired new projects for the Bell Helicopter 525, AirbusHelicopter X4 and the restyling of the AW139 aircraft.
